Albert Alba is a retired military veteran with over 26 years of service. He earned a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Military Academy in 1989 and an MS in Applied Physics (Nuclear) from the Naval Postgraduate School in 1997. He served three combat tours of duty and was awarded the Silver Star and 3 Bronze Stars. He also taught Physics and Nuclear Engineering courses at West Point and was the Professor of Military Science at the University of Texas at Arlington. After retiring from the military, Al worked as an educational consultant in the United Arab Emirates. He is also authoring the book about his father’s life, who served as a Filipino immigrant and steward with the US Navy.
